NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR
Dr. Walter Fernyhough is a naturopathic doctor licensed by the College of Naturopaths of Alberta. He began his Naturopathic training in Toronto at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and then went back to his home in BC to complete his training at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. He is a member of the Alberta Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Dr. Fernyhough ran a clinic in BC for 15 years before moving to Alberta in the summer of 2024.
Dr. Fernyhough utilizes a variety of treatment modalities including botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, lifestyle counselling, prolotherapy, neural therapy, IV and supplemental vitamins and minerals, chelation,,and ozone therapies. Although Naturopathic Physicians are trained as ‘general practitioners’ and therefore cover all areas of health, Dr. Fernyhough has a special focus in treating endocrine disorders (thyroid, adrenal, male and female sex hormones, pituitary hormones). He also focuses on ligament, tendon, and joint injuries, as well as chronic infections.
